In Austria, AIT is one of the key players in the educational and vocational training sector for renewable energies for practitioners but also planners, energy consultants and architects with more than 12 years of experience. Some 4,500 participants have already successfully completed the national and international training courses in order to gain direct access to the latest trends and technological innovations giving them a clear competitive edge in their industry. National legislation associated with the scheme

Accredited Certification Body for Persons (EN ISO/IEC 17024:2003)
After succesfully passing the final examination and fulfilling all other criterias a certification in the respective subject can be requested. To attend the final examination a confirmation of attendance of the AIT course or comparable educations is needed.
As the AIT is an accredited body for the certification of persons according to EN17024, the certificate handed out by AIT is an official publicly recognised document. The validity of the certification lasts 3 years.
