Czech Republic – Solar thermal systems installer

Every installer of renewable energy plant has to have a certification. to gain this certification he/she has to fulfill criteria mentioned on the website www.narodnikvalifikace.cz (see below). these criteria are for instance: education in the field, certain duration of practical qualification/knowledge, examination, etc. on the same website there is a list of persons (also list of firms that are allowed to instal, firms have to fulfill another criteria than private persons) who are already qualified as installers and therefor able to install solar power plant.

Design (appropriate design of system dependent in relation to targeted heating system)
Installation (actual installation process)
Commissioning (ensure effective commissioning of system for optimal performance)
Monitoring (operational or performance monitoring)
Maintenance (understanding of maintenance and warranty based issues)

Training costs and duration

Average training cost	€0 - €1,000
Ongoing Costs in order to be Certified/Qualified	Yes An administrative fee must be paid when applying for the certificate as well as when applying for prolongation of the certificate validity (approx. 60€).
